Beauty Bac Ha fair

From November 13 to 15, the Buckwheat Flower Festival 2015 will take place for the very first time in the four districts of Quan Ba, Meo Vac, Yen Minh, and Dong Van in Vietnam‘s northern mountainous province of Ha Giang.

 

According of the festival organizers – Ha Giang’s Culture, Sport, and Tourism Department, this event is held with the aim of honoring Dong Van Karst Plateau’s distinctive cultural values, attracting more and more visitors to this land, and developing the buckwheat flower into favorite tourism brand of not only the locality but also Ha Giang Province.

With the theme of “The rocky highland– Thousand blooming flowers”, the opening ceremony is going to be formally organized on November 13, 2015, in Dong Van Town – Dong Van District. That’s likely to bring out so many excellent art performances simulating the local legend of buckwheat flower.

Additionally, there will be a lot of attractive cultural activities displayed during the 3-day festival such as photo exhibition on buckwheat flower, the festive night of buckwheat flower wine, a show of the buckwheat flower and its products, and so on.

Attending Ha Giang’s Buckwheat Flower Festival 2015, tourists will have the great chance to not only explore Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, as well as admire the breathtaking beauty of blooming buckwheat flower fields but also take part in a wide range of interesting cultural and festive activities.
