Overview
Dalat Vietnam is the city in the South Central Highlands of Vietnam. Located at high altitude of 1,500 to 2,000 meters, Dalat is a pleasant stop with cool climate all year round with the average temperature from 18 to 25 degree Celsius.
The fertile landscapes make Dalat one of Vietnam’s major agricultural areas since it produces various kinds of fruits, coffee beans, vegetables and flowers.

When to visit?
There are two main seasons in Dalat including rainy season (May to October) and dry season (November to April). The climate is favorable. You can visit this place at anytime of the year, just remember to bring a warm jacket since it’s cold at night.
How to get there?
You can book a flight from Hanoi, Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh city to Lien Khuong Airport in Dalat. Then, you may take a public bus departing from this airport to to Dalat city. It will stop at Pasteur Street, near Xuan Huong Lake. It will cost 50,000 VND/ticket.
Or you can take a taxi to Dalat city centre with price ranging from 200,000 VND to 250,000 VND.
If you’re in Saigon, then you can get to Dalat by bus or by sleeping bus. It may take 8 hours with price ranging from 180,000 – 210,000 VND.

How to get around?

Depending on where you are going to visit, you can choose the most suitable means of transportation. You can walk to some parts around town, or catch a motorbike taxi (xe om) or a taxi if you want to head somewhere farther. Taxis are abundant and reasonable.
Renting a motorbike or a bicycle is also an interesting choice if you want to discover the city. However, consider carefully before you rent a motorbike since you may get into some troubles with driver’s license. You must have a valid Vietnamese driver’s license to be able to drive a motor vehicle.
Motorbike renting price: 20,000 VND/hour, 60,000 VND/day
Bicycle renting price: 20,000 VND/hour, 50,000 VND/day
